The Fyreza Steak Pan is a hand-forged 3 mm carbon steel frying pan with a long handle, available in three sizes: 26 cm (L, 1.3 kg), 30 cm (XL, 1.5 kg), and 35 cm (XXL, 1.8 kg), each 7 cm high. For gas stoves, grills, fire plates, planchas, and open fires.
The Pan for Crust
3 mm carbon steel stores heat like cast iron but is lighter and reacts faster. A steak gets the crust in this pan that a coated pan can never achieve, fried potatoes become crispy, and with each use, the patina darkens and the surface becomes smoother. No coating to peel off. Nothing that can break.

Where you use it
- Hob in the kitchen: gas, ceramic and induction
- Grill, fire plate and plancha
- Campfire, with the Pfannenknecht Tripod as a base
Suitable for ceramic and induction hobs
The Fyreza frying pan is suitable for glass-ceramic hobs as well as induction hobs.
On these hobs we recommend heating the pan slowly at a medium power level. Induction hobs in particular can transfer a large amount of energy directly into the base of the pan within a very short time.
If a hand-forged iron pan is heated too quickly or too intensely in one spot, large temperature differences can arise between the centre and the outer areas of the base. This can cause the base to warp, temporarily or permanently.
Our recommendation:
- Always place the pan centred on the cooking zone.
- Choose a cooking zone that matches the diameter of the pan base as closely as possible.
- Start at low to medium power and heat the pan evenly.
- On induction, do not start straight away at maximum power or "boost".
- Do not heat an empty pan strongly for a long time.
This spreads the heat more evenly through the material and greatly reduces the risk of the base warping.

What size do I need?
L (26 cm) for 1 to 2 steaks on the gas stove. XL (30 cm) for 2 to 3 steaks, stove and grill. XXL (35 cm) for the family, plancha and campfire.
What material is the steak pan made of?
Made of 3 mm thick carbon steel, hand-forged. The material stores heat like cast iron, but is lighter and reacts faster.
Is the pan suitable for induction and ceramic hobs?
Yes. The pan is suitable for ceramic and induction hobs. Important on induction: place it centred, choose a matching cooking zone and heat it up slowly at low to medium power, do not start with boost. This keeps the forged base flat.
Does the pan need to be seasoned?
Yes. Oil thinly, heat until it smokes, let cool, repeat two to three times. This creates the patina that protects against rust and prevents sticking.
How do I clean the steak pan?
Only with warm water and a brush or sponge, no dish soap, no dishwasher. Dry immediately and oil thinly.
Why is my pan rusting?
Carbon steel rusts if stored wet or washed with dish soap. Rub off rust with steel wool, re-season, oil.
What is the advantage over a coated pan?
No coating that peels off, no temperature limit. The patina gets better with each use instead of worse, and the pan lasts a lifetime with proper care.
Can I use the pan on the grill and in the oven?
On the grill and over open fire, yes, that's its home. In the oven too, but the handle should not be exposed to extreme heat permanently.
